Under Disha - an initiative run and managed by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust , Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, appreciated the achievements of young scholars and dedicated mentors from across Jalandhar at its third Annual Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony. The event recognized high achievers from Class X, along with their mentors and school Principals, in an inspiring gathering of nearly a hundred schools. The awards were presented by special guests Mr. Rajesh Jain, Chairman of NVR Overseas, and Mr. V.K. Sareen, Executive Director at Punjab Housing Finance and former Vice Principal of DAV College, along with Dr. Rohan Bowry (Director Innocent Hearts Eye Care Center), Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry (Director CSR). On this occasion ,Dr. Anup Bowry (Chairman Innocent Hearts Group), Mrs. Aradhana Bowry(Executive Director Finance, Health, and Colleges) were also present. They celebrated the hard work and resilience of the students, while emphasizing the essential role of mentorship and support from teachers and school leaders in their achievements. Mr. Rahul Jain (Director Operations IHGI), Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju (Director Academics IHGI) welcomed the principals, teachers and students . The program began after the lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana.Students from Innocent Hearts College added vibrancy to the event with cultural performances , a choreography on women empowerment and Punjabi folk Giddha became the center of attraction .The program captured the celebratory spirit. The ceremony concluded with a warm vote of thanks from Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju, Director Academics IHGI, who expressed gratitude to all participants, guests, and organizers for making the event of 3rd academic excellence a memorable celebration .

Seminar on 'Impact of Air Pollution and Climate Change on Health' Organized Under 'DISHA – An Initiative' by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust
Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, under its initiative 'DISHA – An Initiative,' hosted a seminar at the Loharan Campus School and College aimed at raising awareness about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13: Climate Action. The seminar was centered around the topic, "The Adverse Effects of Air Pollution and Climate Change on Health."
Dr. Rajiv Khurana, D.Litt. (Honoris Causa), Founder Trustee of Lung Care Foundation, Certified Management Consultant, and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of India, graced the occasion as the distinguished speaker, accompanied by his team.
During the seminar, Dr. Khurana highlighted the significant health challenges arising from air pollution and the rapidly changing climate. He explained how these factors are affecting human health, particularly contributing to lung-related diseases, and emphasized the importance of sustainable practices and policy measures to mitigate these impacts. The session aimed to raise awareness among students, educators, and the general public about the urgent need to address these pressing issues.
Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman of Innocent Hearts Group, expressed gratitude to Dr. Khurana for sharing his valuable insights and educating the students. He reaffirmed the institution's commitment to promoting health and environmental awareness through 'DISHA.'
The event witnessed participation from various departments of the institution and community members, making it a successful platform for learning. On this occasion, Dr. Khurana also addressed questions from the students and encouraged them to step forward and contribute to societal change through their efforts.

Quiz Competition by Management Department - September 2024
The Management Department successfully organized a thrilling Quiz Competition to enlighten and engage students on current affairs and general knowledge of 2024. With 85 enthusiastic participants from various semesters (MBA, BBA, and B.COM), the competition was a huge success!
📚 Purpose: To broaden students' knowledge of current events and management topics. 👥 Participants: 85 students from MBA, BBA, and B.COM programs. 👩🏫 Faculty Coordinators: AP Nayia Sharma and AP Shalini Mahajan. 👩💼 Led by: Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju (Director), Rahul Jain (Director Operations), and Dr. Divakar Joshi (HOD).
