Quiz Competition by Management Department - September 2024


The Management Department successfully organized a thrilling Quiz Competition to enlighten and engage students on current affairs and general knowledge of 2024. With 85 enthusiastic participants from various semesters (MBA, BBA, and B.COM), the competition was a huge success!

📚 Purpose: To broaden students' knowledge of current events and management topics. 👥 Participants: 85 students from MBA, BBA, and B.COM programs. 👩‍🏫 Faculty Coordinators: AP Nayia Sharma and AP Shalini Mahajan. 👩‍💼 Led by: Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju (Director), Rahul Jain (Director Operations), and Dr. Divakar Joshi (HOD).

The quiz was held in 3 exciting rounds:

  1. Round 1: Current Affairs (August-September 2024)
  2. Round 2: Management Subjects
  3. Round 3: Taglines & Company Logos

Guest Lecture on Global Hospitality Internship Guidance

 

The School of Hotel Management in collaboration with the Training and Placement Cell at Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions proudly organized an insightful guest lecture on Global Hospitality Internship Guidance.
🎤 Speaker: Mr. Ankish Adhikari, Recruiter Supervisor at JOJO International, shared valuable knowledge and guidance on global internship opportunities, preparing students to succeed in the international hospitality industry.
The session provided our students with expert tips and advice to kickstart their careers globally, and we are thankful to Mr. Adhikari for taking the time to engage with our students!

Students explored the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence, gaining hands-on experience with AI tools and learning about the latest trends in tech!

Business Plan Competition

The Management Department at Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions recently organized an exciting Business Plan Competition!

Nine teams from across all semesters showcased their talent, presenting unique and innovative business ideas. Participants put forward strategies on topics like:

Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions Organizes Blood Grouping Camp for Batch 2024!


We’re thrilled to share that the Science Club recently hosted a successful blood grouping camp for our Batch 2024 students at the Hematology Lab of the Medical Science Department! 🩸
From 1 PM to 3 PM, students across all departments came together to learn their blood types for the first time. Knowing your blood type is essential for emergencies and can significantly aid in future blood donations and medical treatments.
A huge shoutout to our Medical Science students and dedicated volunteers who played a crucial role in the smooth execution of the camp, ensuring personalized attention for everyone involved. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions Celebrates National Hindi Diwas with Great Zeal!


In honor of National Hindi Diwas, the Literary Club and NSS Unit of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, along with Innocent Hearts College of Education, came together to host Inter-College Hindi Language Competitions. Students from prominent colleges like Chacha Satyapal Tuli Memorial College of Education, Pathankot; Dips College of Education, Dhilwan; and Om Parkash Memorial Institute of Education, Dyalpur, participated with passion and enthusiasm.

These events were organized to preserve and promote Hindi, the language that is the heart of India's cultural identity. To instill values and promote creativity, the Literary Club hosted a special Creative Writing competition focused on Doheys by Kabir Dasji, Rahimji, and Tulsi Dasji. The students' heartfelt compositions reflected their reverence for the Hindi language.
Winners were awarded certificates, and all participants were appreciated for their efforts. The students’ slogans filled the campus with a sense of pride, reinforcing the importance of Hindi as the backbone of the nation.







E-Waste Awareness Drive Success!


Environmental Cell of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions conducted an impactful E-Waste Awareness Drive and Collection in Village Nijjran. Our dedicated team of 28 volunteers went door-to-door, educating residents about the dangers of improper electronic waste disposal and encouraging responsible recycling practices.
We are thrilled to announce that we successfully gathered a significant amount of e-waste, raising awareness about its environmental impact and promoting sustainable disposal methods. 🎉
What's next? We plan to organize regular collection drives and establish permanent e-waste bins in the village to ensure a continued effort towards a cleaner and greener environment.

Enhancing Career Readiness: Mock Interview Session at IHGI!


The Training and Placement Cell at Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions took a significant step in preparing our students for the competitive job market by organizing an engaging Mock Interview Session. This event was tailored for students across various disciplines, including:
School of Management
School of IT
School of Hotel Management
School of Medical Lab Science
The session comprised three comprehensive rounds designed to simulate the actual interview process:
Group Discussion/MCQs:
Students began with a dynamic group discussion, enhancing their communication and teamwork skills. This round was followed by multiple-choice questions that tested their knowledge and critical thinking.
Technical Round:
Participants then moved on to the technical round, where they faced questions relevant to their fields of study. This was an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their subject expertise and problem-solving abilities.
HR Interview:
Finally, students participated in one-on-one HR interviews, which provided them with insights into common interview questions and the best practices for presenting themselves effectively.
The Mock Interview Session not only aimed to build confidence but also to familiarize students with the interview format and expectations of potential employers. The feedback received was invaluable, offering students the chance to refine their skills and improve their performance.
