Workshop: On-Boarding Professionals

 School of Management organized a workshop: On-Boarding Professionals. Ms. Amandeep Kaur, Director, DVM Educational Services was the expert for the session. Ms. Aman started with a session on the importance of an attractive Resume along with the requirement of a cover letter.Ms. Aman made use of the demonstrative methodology to make the students understand about the nuisances of effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

The workshop was organized by Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju, Head, School of Management and coordinated by AP Minal Verma of management Department.

Dr. Shailesh Tripathi, Group Dirtector, IHGI delivered a vote of thanks and presented a Guest of Honor Trophy to the guest speaker.

Quiz Competition for its students to upskill the General Knowledge and Current Affairs

 IHGI School of Management organized Quiz Competition for its students to upskill the General Knowledge and Current Affairs in them. The students' knowledge was tested through different rounds ie General awareness round, Identify the personality,  Abbreviation Round and Audio Round.

Industrial Visit to RCF, Kapurthala

 The School of Management of IHGI organized an Industrial Visit for its students to Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala. The visit was aimed at letting the students to get insight of the production principles employed into the making of state-of-the-art Railway coaches.

2 supervisors from RCF guided the students in the tour through the different shops ie sheet metal shop, steel shop, shell shop, painting shop and furnishing shop.It is pertinent to mention that with this visit, students of IHGI get  knowledge and exposure to latest cost effective manufacturing techniques adopted at RCF, Kapurthala.

The visit was organized by Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju, Head, School of Management and the
faculty accompanied the students were AP Divakar Joshi, AP Ankush Sharma, AP Nayia Sharma and AP Babita Malhotra.

Workshop on Financial Litercay

 

School of Management organized a workshop on Financial Litercay for its students. Ms. Anita Saini (Securities Market Trainer, SEBI) and Mr. Nagesh Kumar ( Comapny Secretary) were the Guest Speakers for the Day. Mr. Nagesh Kumar made the students aware about  different investment options available like Shares, Stock Market, Properties, Gold, Crypto currencies etc. along with the benefits and risks associated with the same. He motivated the students to exhibit good financial behaviour.

Ms. Anita Saini discussed with students about commodity derivatives, the virtual platforms for trading, Hedging etc.
