TECHFEST 2026: Celebrating Technology, Creativity & Innovation at IHGI

 The School of Information Technology, in collaboration with the IT Club of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, successfully organised TECHFEST 2026, providing students with an exciting platform to showcase their creativity, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities.

The event featured three engaging competitions: Poster Design, Prompt Engineering, and Code Debugging, encouraging students to explore innovative ideas, demonstrate their technical skills, and embrace emerging technologies.

The winners were recognised for their outstanding performances:

• Poster Design: Shivam (BCA 5th Semester)

• Prompt Engineering: Lovepreet Singh (1st), Kartikey Jain (2nd), and Mannat Dham (3rd).

• Code Debugging: Rajbir Singh (1st), Amandeep Kaur (2nd), and Gurkirat Singh (3rd).

The event celebrated innovation, creativity, teamwork, and technical excellence while inspiring students to develop future-ready skills.

Expanding Access to Flexible Higher Education: IHGI Establishes Official Learning Support Centre under JGND PSOU

 Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, has established an official Learning Support Centre under Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University (JGND PSOU), Patiala, as part of the DISHA – An Initiative CSR Project. The initiative aims to make quality higher education more accessible, affordable, and flexible by offering learners access to 100+ Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate, and Master's programmes.

The Learning Support Centre will facilitate students through Open and Distance Learning (ODL), online classes, digital study materials, flexible learning options, and affordable fee structures. It will also provide guidance and assistance with admissions, registration, and programme selection.

This initiative reflects IHGI's commitment to promoting inclusive education and creating opportunities for lifelong learning.

Knowledge Beyond Boundaries – 2026: Celebrating Knowledge, Awareness & Teamwork at IHGI

 The Academic Committee of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, organised Knowledge Beyond Boundaries – 2026, an engaging quiz competition designed to test students' general awareness, knowledge, and quick-thinking abilities. The competition featured two exciting rounds: a word-grid challenge based on significant national and international events, followed by a direct-question round testing participants' knowledge and presence of mind.

Kartikay Jain (BCA 5th Semester), Ashish (Microbiology 3rd Semester), and Supreet (BBA 1st Semester) emerged as the winning team, showcasing excellent teamwork and knowledge.

The event encouraged healthy competition, intellectual curiosity, and learning beyond the classroom.

Hospitality Beyond Borders: Exploring Global Careers & Opportunities at IHGI

 The School of Hotel Management at Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, organised an International Training & Placement Guest Lecture to familiarise students with global career opportunities and emerging trends in the international hospitality industry. The interactive session highlighted international career prospects, training and placement opportunities, global industry expectations, and professional development. It encouraged students to expand their horizons, enhance their career readiness, and prepare for exciting opportunities in the global hospitality sector.

 

Celebrating Gratitude & Creativity: Teachers’ Day at IHGI

 Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions celebrated Teachers’ Day with a vibrant Digital Card & Poster Making Competition, organized by the IT Club.  The event provided students with a creative platform to express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers through innovative designs, digital artwork, and heartfelt messages.
