International Yoga Day 2026 at IHGI: Promoting Healthy Ageing and Holistic Well-Being

 The Mental Well-Being Club of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, under the guidance of Disha – An Initiative by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 with enthusiasm and mindfulness under the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.”

The celebration focused on promoting the importance of yoga as a powerful practice for maintaining physical fitness, mental peace, and overall well-being. Faculty members actively participated in various yoga asanas, pranayama exercises, and meditation practices, experiencing the positive impact of mindful living and a balanced lifestyle.

The session highlighted the significant role of yoga in enhancing physical vitality, reducing stress, improving mental clarity, and supporting healthy ageing. It encouraged participants to incorporate yoga and mindfulness into their daily routines for long-term health and happiness.
