On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, the Environment Cell of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, under DISHA – An Initiative, took a creative step towards environmental sustainability by transforming discarded plastic bottles into a vibrant vertical garden.
Based on the inspiring message “Reduce • Reuse • Regrow – Transforming Waste into Green Growth,” the initiative demonstrated how plastic waste can be creatively repurposed to develop beautiful and eco-friendly green spaces. Students and faculty members participated enthusiastically, showcasing their commitment to environmental conservation, responsible waste management, and sustainable living.
The activity not only enhanced the beauty of the campus but also encouraged the IHGI community to adopt environmentally responsible practices in their daily lives. By promoting the principles of reducing waste, reusing materials, and nurturing greenery, the initiative highlighted the importance of collective action in protecting the environment.
The celebration of World Environment Day 2026 reflected IHGI’s continued commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability while inspiring students to contribute towards building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
Reduce. Reuse. Regrow. Every small action can make a big difference towards a greener tomorrow!
