The B.Sc. MLS and B.Sc. (Hons.) Microbiology 1st Semester students of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, gained valuable real-world exposure through an industrial visit to the Verka Milk Plant, Jalandhar. The visit offered insights into milk processing, dairy production, quality control, hygiene, preservation, packaging, and food microbiology practices. Students observed the industrial preparation of milk, curd, lassi, kheer, milk powder, and other dairy products, connecting their academic knowledge with practical applications. This enriching experience strengthened their understanding of the dairy and food-processing industry, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
